Leslie Price Lasher

Leslie has an active trial practice representing government entities, employers, and health care providers before North Carolina’s state, appellate, and federal courts. Leslie also defends workers’ compensation occupational disease cases before the North Carolina Industrial Commission and has participated in jury trials and extensive motions hearings in North Carolina's District and Superior Courts. She primarily advises and defends public and private employers on issues related to Title VII, motor vehicle negligence, premises liability, and health care malpractice. In addition, Leslie devotes a significant amount of her practice to the area of emergency response care.

Leslie attended Elon University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration and Political Science in 2006, and her Juris Doctor in 2009, both with cum laude distinction. With her educational background and continued focus on the public sector, Leslie brings a unique perspective and systematic approach to working with government entities at all levels. While at Elon University, Leslie was the 2005 female recipient of the J. Earl Danieley Leadership Award, and while at Elon Law, she specialized in litigation and was active in the Student Bar Association. In 2007, she clerked in the North Carolina Court of Appeals with the Honorable Linda Stephens, and joined Teague Campbell in 2009.

She is admitted to practice in all state courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts of North Carolina. She is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, Wake County Bar Association, and the Employment Law and Young Lawyers division of Primerus. Leslise is also actively involved in the Young Lawyers Committee of the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys, and serves as a member of the Elon Law Alumni Council. In 2014 Leslie was recognized as a "Rising Star" by her peers in the North Carolina Edition of Super Lawyers.
