Henry W. Gorham

Henry received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from East Carolina University, and a Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University. After graduating from law school, he served as a Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force.

Henry has extensive experience litigating governmental, condemnation, commercial and public officials liability cases, as well as a variety of real estate and construction defect issues. He also defends real estate professionals, and litigates complex personal injury, products liability, environmental, insurance coverage and bad faith questions. Henry serves as an arbitrator and mediator for the American Arbitration Association and is a certified mediator for all Superior Courts in North Carolina, as well as those pending before the Industrial Commission, and in the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of North Carolina. He is a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals and the North Carolina Academy of Superior Court Mediators.

Henry's professional memberships include the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys, Defense Research Institute, Association of Defense Trial Attorneys, North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association and Wake County Bar Association. In addition to being licensed to practice in all of the state courts of North Carolina, he is admitted to appear in the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of North Carolina, and the Fourth Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals. He has earned the highest ranking (AV-Rated) awarded by Martindale-Hubbell since 1989 and was recently selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America for 2015 in the field of Commercial Litigation.
