Brandon focuses on representing clients in publishing, content licensing and clearance, internet, intellectual property, privacy, entertainment and commercial contract matters. He has a particular focus on clients in video game, interactive and digital media industries. He also assists attorneys and litigants in crisis communications and media strategy.

Brandon volunteers as general counsel to the International Game Developers’ Association, the largest trade organization focused on supporting individual game developers. In early 2017, he was awarded the IGDA’s MVP award. He is also active in the North Carolina, Wake County and American Bar Associations, is on the board of Triangle ArtWorks (a nonprofit dedicated to promoting the arts economy) and the small business advisory council of North Carolina DHHS Vocational Rehabilitation Services, which works to enable individuals with disabilities through entrepreneurship.

Pragmatic and practical advice just when you need it
Brandon has helped me with some copyright work, but also is my first thought when I need an opinion or want to verify that what I am thinking legally works in anything copyright, entertainment and gaming. Essential Guidance During Initiation and Growth
My cofounder and I engaged with Brandon while we were forming our original business plan and he has been sharing his expertise with us ever since. Initially as informal consultation and later under hire, Brandon's insight and guidance has been instrumental during our growth.
