I handle both criminal and civil cases. 

My criminal practice is dedicated to assisting people from all walks of life who have been investigated or charged with a crime. I represent individuals facing misdemeanor and felony charges in State and Federal Court. I am one of the youngest members of the EDNC CJA Panel (federal court-appointed list). I have defended clients accused of:

• Violent Crimes, including murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and assault on a female
• Property Crimes, including fraud, obtaining property by false pretenses, and larceny
• Drug Crimes, including conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, possession of controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia
• Weapon Crimes, including possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of explosives
• Sex Crimes, including rape, sexual exploitation of a minor, and possession of child pornography
• Traffic Offenses

My civil practice includes experience in a vast range of lawsuits, including claims of defamation, breach of contract, malicious prosecution, unfair and deceptive trade practices, assault, constitutional violations, and others.  I have handled cases in both State and Federal Court. I know the intricacies of e-discovery, and I am routinely called upon to assist attorneys throughout my firm with this stage of litigation.
