Hire an attorney. You may be eligible for a PJC in which case the ticket will have no effect on insurance rates.

If in fact he is on an ICE hold (immigration) you should find an attorney versed in that law.

The robbery charge is a class D felony. Conspiracy generally carries the same sentence. If you are convicted of either, you could be put in jail...

At this point your case is in the hands of the DA. If your friend confesses, they can still charge you for related crimes, or even the same crime....

It depends on whether he was charged on a Class 3 or Class 2 misdemeanor. In either case, jail time is not possibles if this is his first offence....

If you are released from prison on appeal can they re-indict on the same charge before the original is dismissed.
