Mounia El-Arar

Mounia El-Arar is an immigration attorney who advises individuals, families, professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, and businesses on a wide range of U.S. immigration matters. Her practice includes employment-based immigration matters such as EB-1 extraordinary ability petitions, EB-2 National Interest Waivers, O-1 visas, L-1 visas, and E-2 investor visas, as well as family-based immigration, adjustment of status, consular processing, fiancé visas, naturalization, and citizenship matters.

Mounia regularly works with professionals in technology, artificial intelligence, software engineering, cybersecurity, finance, healthcare, and other specialized fields. She assists clients with developing immigration strategies, evaluating eligibility, preparing petitions and applications, responding to Requests for Evidence and Notices of Intent to Deny, and presenting complex professional achievements and technical evidence within the applicable immigration framework.

Mounia earned her B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Stonehill College in 2016, her Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2019, and her M.S. in Cybersecurity from Roger Williams University in 2019. Following law school, she served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Sohail Mohammed of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Criminal Division, before founding Mounia Elarar Law, LLC in 2020.
