I am a partner at Northen Blue, LLP, and focus my law practice in the areas of bankruptcy, debtor/creditor law and commercial litigation. A substantial portion of my practice is devoted to chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and bankruptcy-related litigation. I represent individual debtors, guarantors, non-bank creditors and other parties in interest in bankruptcy cases and debtor/creditor litigation. I also handle a variety of commercial litigation matters, including disputes arising from asset purchases, fraudulent conveyance actions, and other types of business litigation.
I am member of the panel of chapter 7 trustees for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of North Carolina. I have also served as a court-appointed receiver in connection with state court litigation.
Prior to joining Northen Blue in 2011, I served as a law clerk to two bankruptcy judges in the Middle District of North Carolina
