I am an experienced business lawyer and executive with a proven record of achievement in law firms and corporations for over two decades.  My practice has concentrated on intellectual property, finance, commercial transactions, labor and employment, and licensing, with attention to other disciplines—such as tax, compliance, and regulatory affairs—whenever relevant.  I excel at controlling risk and successfully resolving claims and disputes.  I have effectively served as general counsel to significant operating divisions at two Fortune 100 companies and to a small international subsidiary of a Canadian insurance company.  My current clients are active in television, film and other entertainment businesses among other industries and include both major names and smaller production companies.
