Michael Robert Ganley

Michael Ganley leads the firm’s full-service, comprehensive Property Management practice, representing property management companies and homeowners associations throughout North Carolina and South Carolina.  His representation of homeowners associations includes collection of delinquent assessments, resolving disputes with vendors, mediating conflicts among homeowners, and amending covenants and by-laws.  Further, Mr. Ganley makes himself available to attend HOA meetings, hold Q&A sessions with homeowners and consult with Boards on legal issues. He also represents residential and commercial property owners, from single units to large apartment complexes, concerning leases, summary ejectment and collection of delinquent rent. 
 
With a background in all aspects of real estate law, Mr. Ganley also maintains a strong commercial real estate practice. He has represented purchasers and sellers in a variety of real estate transactions, providing research and solutions to complex issues arising throughout the closing process. This includes representing individuals, investors and Fortune 500 companies in multimillion dollar real estate acquisitions in both urban and rural regions throughout the mid-Atlantic and Southeast, from the initial drafting and revision of contracts through negotiations with opposing parties and counsel, performing complex title searches, and ultimately coordinating the closing process among multiple parties, along with resolving various issues involving title defects and contract contingencies throughout.
 
Michael was admitted to practice law in the state courts of North Carolina in 2010 and he was admitted to practice law in the state courts of South Carolina in 2011.
