James K. (Jim) Talcott is a partner with Ivey, McClellan, Gatton & Talcott, LLP. Jim began his practice of law with the firm in 1985 after graduating from law school. Jim’s practice focuses on the areas of Bankruptcy and Insolvency, including complex financial reorganizations and debt restructuring for both business and individual clients. While he frequently serves as bankruptcy counsel for chapter 11 Business and Individual debtors as well as Trustees, consumer debtors and Chapter 12 farmers, over half of his practice consists of representing and counseling business and individual clients in out of court insolvency, debt restructuring and asset protection assignments.
