Michael Donnell Casterlow

Mike has called Greensboro, NC home for most of his life, leaving briefly to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia. After college, he returned to Greensboro and received his law degree from Elon University School of Law. Mike knew since he was a child that he was going to become an attorney. Most children showed up to career day dressed as firefighter or doctors. Mike showed up in a suit and tie with a briefcase. After law school, Mike spent the first years of his legal career as a solo practice attorney, assisting people of the Triad with estate planning and administration services.

Always looking toward the future, Mike has been raising a very rambunctious Peek-A-Poo dog, named Dobby, with his husband in preparation for eventually raising children. He has a passion for Harry Potter and helping people, so he’ll always try to find ways to relate the two, even in practice. He has an affinity for working with LGBTQIA individuals and families. Mike works around the community looking for ways to help all people. He is excited to speak with people about their estate situation, and he looks forward to hearing his clients sigh with relief at the end of the process.
