Don't trust her with you life

Ms. Pryor was appointed to defend me for my federal criminal case. Throughout her representation, she was nearly impossible for my family and I to reach. Most significantly, she outright lied to us about filling a motion that she never actually filled. Given that I was never ever to reach her via tel...ephone to address this, the only opportunity I had to raise this issue with her was on the day of my sentencing. At that time, Ms. Pryor became visibly and verbally angry with me and she told that if I attempted to ask for new counsel that day that the judge would hold it tagainst me. She then just got up and left me sitting alone in the attorney-client interview room. She returned shortly later apologizing for not doing her job however, she proceeded to try to push me into following through with sentencing that day. I declined and told the judge about her actions and he swiftly terminated her and substituted new counsel. My newly appointed counsel was able to get nearly a full year off the sentence that I would have received under Ms. Pryor's representation. I have heard numerous other horror stories from federal criminal defendants regarding Ms. Pryor's poor representation. This needs to be public knowledge.

Excellent Representation!

We needed a lawyer to act on our behalf quickly. We called Renorda and left a message on a Sunday evening. She called me back because of the tone of my voice and she knew my husband and myself needed her services. Her paralegal Mandy spent over one hour (maybe one and one half hours) on the phone wit...h us that Sunday evening and by Monday morning we met Renorda and continued to talk. By that afternoon she got the court order for temporary custody of our granddaughter. By the evening we were reunited with our granddaughter. Renorda knows the law, makes sure she has all her papers in order in advance and really fights for her clients in court. Because of her knowledge and empathy we had our baby girl back and now her parents will work out their issues with custody with their own attorneys. She ensured the safety of our granddaughter at a time when it was needed. Thank You Renorda Pryor and Mandy for being there for us during this process. We couldn't have survived without you.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"In addition to being a practicing lawyer, I am the founder of a consumer-to-lawyer e-commerce site called BernieSez.com. Renorda and others like her see that this solution makes sense for the consumer and the practitioner as well. She is a forward-thinking lawyer not afraid to embrace the advantages and efficiencies of modern technology. We need more like her in our profession. Highest kudos!"
