Service to others is one of the key values I learned from my parents. I enjoy practicing law because it gives me the opportunity to help others.
After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I decided pursuing a law degree would enable me to make service the cornerstone of my career. I graduated from the University of West Virginia Law School in 2002 and practiced briefly in West Virginia. I missed North Carolina and chose to return to Davidson County to practice. I joined Brinkley Walser Stoner (then Brinkley Walser) in 2003, learning from the firm's strong team of seasoned attorneys.
My wife Carrie and I have two great children. It sounds simplistic but the ability to practice law at a quality firm like Brinkley Walser Stoner and enjoy life in this wonderful community with small town values provides me with the type of life I have always hoped to achieve.
