WORST experience I've had with an Attorney

I hired Robert Craig for a case and it was the worst experience I've had with a lawyer to date. Any status calls, which I had to initiate, where received with condescending conversations. In person communications during court dates were equally as bad. I felt as though I was at his mercy, having paid... him in full and being halfway through the process, all I could do was either sit back and take his disrespect or start the process new with another lawyer, which I could not afford. Robert was fully aware of this and treated my case as if it were disposable. Do yourself a favor and stay away. I thought I was doing right by hiring someone familiar with the system and being in the courts for an extended period, I WAS WRONG! You can verify this for yourself, show up at one of his court dates and watch how he interacts with the other lawyers and judges. I had a favorable outcome to my case, but not because of second-rate service, merely due to the fact the prosecutor could not establish communication with the other party involved. ROBERT DEAN CRAIG is not worth the time, money or effort. PLEASE DO NOT put your future in this hands. "This is 2017 Robert, you can't treat your clients like crap and think that we don't have my medium in which to share our experience"

"I am very pleased to have the opportunity to endorse Robert "Bob" Craig. I have been privileged to have been Bob's colleague for approximately 13 years as a fellow attorney in Alamance County from 2000-2009 and as the Alamance County Clerk of Superior Court from 2009-2010. Bob has always exhibited the highest degree of professional skill, judgment, and ethics. He is an excellent trial lawyer and litigator who is a passionate and fierce advocate for his clients. Bob is not only an excellent attorney but is also someone I admire greatly. He is a person of extraordinary intelligence, exemplary character, and courage."

"I have known Robert Craig for over five years. In all the time I have known him he has been the consumate advocate for all of his clients. I believe in his capabilities and skill, as well as his true concern for the well being of those he represents. I refer clients and potential clients to him, without any reservations, when the opportunity arises. I have never been disappointed by these referals or had a client complain about the level of service and respect they were shown. I wholeheartedly endorse Robert Craig as an Attorney of impecable character and talent."

"I endorse this lawyer.I have known Robert Craig for over 20 years. I have worked opposite him when I was an Assistant District Attorney and worked side by side with him as a colleague as an attorney in private practice. He is an excellent attorney. I state that without reservation. Mr. Craig handles civil cases, criminal cases and domestic cases. Whenever I refer clients I consider him first. I know that when he handles a case he will do so with great competence and compassion. In addition to taking great care in keeping his clients informed and prepared, he is a powerful advocate in court and an excellent negotiator out of court. He has my full endorsement."

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2007.

Censure issued in NC, 2007

updated on 08/28/2008

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
