Jasmine is a native of Charlottesville, Virginia. She attended Elon University as a Presidential Scholar, where she received a bachelor of arts in Strategic Communications, as well as two minors in history and African American studies. After finishing her undergraduate studies, Jasmine spent more than three years working as a public relations and marketing professional with several small businesses and nonprofit organizations. She then attended law school at Wake Forest University, where she was extensively involved in the school’s Pro Bono Project, the Domestic Violence Awareness Coalition, and the Women in Law organization. Also during law school, Jasmine interned with the Children’s Law Center of Central North Carolina, serving as a Guardian ad litem in high conflict custody battles and cases involving domestic violence. Additionally, she interned with the Vice Chancellor for Institutional Integrity & General Counsel at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Jasmine was the 2018 recipient of the North Carolina State Bar Pro Bono Service Award, which is presented annually to a law student who has contributed significant time time and talent to free law-related services. She also received Elon University's esteemed "Top 10 Under 10" Award in 2019 for exemplary community and public service. With a heart for serving others, Jasmine aims to empathetically serve each and every client.
