I practiced law in Morgantown, WV for 35 years. When I had civil cases that required more expertise, knowledge and experience than I had, I associated with Mr. Metheney (as co-counsel) for several reasons: He is unquestionably qualified to handle large personal injury/wrongful death cases. He is c...ompletely versed on the law and makes sure he knows all the facts and all the witnesses and what their testimony will be. He is a great negotiator and is unquestionable honest and ethical. And he can be very aggressive if circumstances require it. Mr. Metheney represented me personally in a domestic case. He maintained his polite demeanor but did a superb job of representing me. The four (4) opposing lawyers were no match for Mr Metheney even though one was voted by WV Bar as best domestic lawyer in WV. Not true; Wesley Metheney is far better and again, he is ethical, moral and very experienced at trial work.

Exempliary work. Friendly and comfortable to work with.

Wes Metheney has provided legal service to me for two decades. This includes personal matters and real estate issues. I am surprised at the depth that he pursues in the resolution of legal matters. His personality is such that I not only see him as a lawyer but also a friend.

Wesley Metheney

Mr. Metheney has represented me and my family for many years. Mr. Metheney has always been willing to help us when ever the arose and did so with compassion and professionalism. My relationship Mr. Metheney has span over a period of more then 30 years. he has always delivered the same concern whether... it was and issue with my child and the school system or an issue with my business. It never appeared to matter how serious the issue was he always performed at a level that exceeded expectations. My family and I consider Mr. Metheney to be our friend as well as our attorney.
