Zula LLC is Hindley's client. LLC members elect Haile as President. Several members decide to Notice a vote to elect a new manager to replace Haile. Haile purports to terminate the LLC equity inte ... rest of the members calling for a vote, and causes the LLC to sue them for money damages. Hindley orchestrates a member meeting with written ballots and proxies. By unanimous vote Haile is replaced as President. Haile declares the vote invalid, takes the LLC’s bank accounts, and threatens the LLC’s real estate tenants with Unlawful Detainer law suits if they do not pay rent to Haile. Hindley drafts a Complaint and OSC for Preliminary Injunction based on BP Code 17200. Preliminary Injunction Granted. Haile unsuccessfully motions for reconsideration, to change venue, disqualify the Judge, and disqualify Hindley. Haile appeals Preliminary Injunction and all trial court orders. (First District, Div. 3 #A123759). Result 100% for Hindley’s Client: Trial court orders affirmed and appeal dismissed. Haile’s writs to the California Supreme Court (S177081) and the United States Supreme Court (No. 09-9446) both denied. At trial, Permanent Injunction against Haile and money Judgement for Hindley’s Client, including attorney fees. Haile appeals the Judgment. Result: After several motions by Haile, and one motion by Hindley, Haile’s appeal is dismissed, and the Judgment stands.
