Client entered into a purchase agreement for a new construction home in April 2022. In October 2022 client received notice that mold had been discovered and remediated in the home, with closing schedul ... ed in December 2022. Client wanted to back out of the purchase. Builder initially refused, but quickly relented and issued full refund of earnest money and upgrade deposits, totaling $53,000+.
