Travis M. Miller

Travis was born and raised in West Virginia. He grew up in Lumberport, a small town just north of Clarksburg in Harrison County. Travis is part of the fourth generation of his family to be raised in this small West Virginia coal mining community where his grandfather told stories of living in a company town while working in the Laura Lee coal mine. After graduating from Lincoln High School, he completed his undergraduate studies at West Virginia University in Morgantown where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting. In 1999, Travis graduated from the West Virginia University College of Law and was admitted to practice law in West Virginia that same year.

He has served as the Chairman of the West Virginia State Bar Social Security Committee since 2009. Travis is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR) and the National Organization of Veterans’ Advocates (NOVA). He is an accredited attorney by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs. He is also admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia, the Northern and Southern Federal District Courts of West Virginia and in the Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit so that he can appeal your claim to the highest levels if need be.
