Samuel Dominick Madia

Sam Madia grew up in Clarksburg, and now serves the community that raised him as a personal injury and employment law attorney at his firm, Shaffer Madia Law. Sam is a graduate of West Virginia University’s College of Law. After obtaining his J.D., he started his legal career working for the largest litigation defense firm in West Virginia. In his tenure here, Sam defended some of the largest industrial employers in the state. He also represented national trucking companies. Altogether, he defended more than 500 civil suits and 30 wrongful death suits.
Sam would later go on to found Shaffer Madia Law with his uncle, Joe Shaffer. In his private practice, Sam switched gears and started representing victims of personal injury and employer mistreatment. He has represented over 170 people who have been injured, wronged, or harmed in some way. His defense as a defense litigator is an invaluable asset to his clients, who are often facing large insurance companies and private corporations.
