Don Lumb, a retired K9 officer, was assaulted, battered and falsely arrested by two United States Border patrol officers as he was taking his fiancee's son to school. The District Attorney declined to ... file charges. During an administrative hearing, one of the agents admitted he didn't know if he had any basis to arrest Mr. Lumb. Ms. Prevost has filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California seeking damages for the agents' unlawful actions.

He knew she was disabled. He charged her with resisting arrest and battery on an officer. The video of the attack was so harsh Inside Edition featured it on their news magazine.

Client was charged with his second DUI with a .15 blood alcohol reading. A few months later, he was charged with drunk in public and resisting arrest. I handled both cases. When we went to trial on the ... DUI, I was able to keep out the preliminary alcohol screening test and the first blood test. The DA had failed to reveal that the blood analyst had lied in court and "retired." So all that was left was an 18-month old retest. But in trial, the DA committed misconduct and caused a mistrial. We were going to have to start all over. Regarding the resisting arrest, I learned that the same assaulting cop had attacked an elderly juror in the courthouse. And the intake nurse at the Sheriff's department completely disagreed with the rogue officer's assessment of my client's sobriety. In short, the cop was a liar. Two years after these charges were filed, the DA agreed to dismiss the resisting arrest/drunk in public case, and reduce the DUI w/1 prior case (automatic jail) to a simple wet reckless.

Mr. Devermont, otherwise known as "Mr. Checkpoint", was stopped by Officer Koby Arnold and falsely arrested. But Mr. Devermont recorded the contact and was able to show that Officer Arnold completely ... fabricated the basis for his arrest. His blood alcohol was negative for drugs and alcohol. City fought the case for years. A settlement was agreed upon, subject to approval from the City of Santa Monica.
