I hired this man for a custody issue a few years back. Not only did he neglect to tell me that he was partners with the other person's attorney, he would not take my phone calls or hold meetings after I paid him. He demanded that I changed his truthful review on Google or he would say that I didn't p...ay him and he would go after me. He did absolutely nothing for us except make it worse.

Mr Davenport was my public pretender a few years ago. I violated my probation so the courts appointed this incompetent lawyer to represent me. My original charge was trafficking marijuana. I got caught with 1 gram of weed and the areesting officer knew me bc I dated his sister. He charged me with tr...afficking bc he said that I admitted that I was going to sell that 1 small bud that was in 1 little bag. I served 3 months home confinement with a gps attached to my ankle (electronic monitored house arrest). 3 yrs later I violated my probation. He came to me and said they want you to serve 10 months in prison and that I was lucky bc they could have gave me the whole 12 months. I asked him if my home confinement counted as time served and recieved a quick "no" from him. State v. Holmes, 2008-Ohio-6804. Holmes, the court held that a defendant should have been granted jail-time credit under R.C. 2949.08 for his time on postconviction EMHA. The court reasoned that because electronic monitoring constituted detention for purposes of an escape conviction, it should also warrant, in the interest of justice, credit as time served....Ok theres many other similar cases in which I was not able to read up on until I was in prison. When I found out I was excited that my lawyer made a mistake, I was in fact going to be getting out 3 months earlier than expected but when I called my lawyer and had family member call and leave detailed messages I never heard a word back. I served the 3 months that I wasnt suppose to and yes I blame this lawyer 100%
