With more than 20 years of experience litigating insurance bad faith, personal injury, and wrongful death claims, Laura Davis brings to Manchin Ferretti extensive knowledge and expertise. Laura is well-respected by both her peers in the legal community and her clients alike.
Over her career, Laura Davis has obtained many millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for injured people and their families. She has a perfect score of 10 on AVVO, a leading consumer website for information about attorneys. In 2018, she was designated as a “Super Lawyer” in the area of Insurance Coverage litigation, an honor given to only 0.05 of attorneys in West Virginia.
Since 2009, Laura has been an active member of the West Virginia Association for Justice (WVAJ), the state’s largest trial lawyer organization. In 2013, she was asked to serve on WVAJ’s Board of Governors and its Education Committee and, over the years, she has given several presentations at WVAJ conventions on topics including insurance bad faith law.
Laura Davis has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Florida and, in 1998, she graduated from West Virginia University College of Law. Laura is admitted to practice law in West Virginia, she is a member of the West Virginia State Bar, and she is a member of the national Association for Justice. When Laura is not practicing law, she enjoys practicing yoga, hiking with her husband and dogs, birding, cooking good food, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
