Biography
Hello, my name is David Hinkle. I'm a bankruptcy/debt relief lawyer.
Basically, I help people, who are stressed out about debt, get a fresh start. And despite what you may be told by friends, family members, co-workers etc. (Or what you may read on the internet!), it can actually be accomplished. I've helped more than 1,000 clients get relief from millions of dollars in debt. I've also helped hundreds of people save their homes from foreclosure.
My firm also sues debt collectors who cross the line while collecting debts. It happens more than you think. There are several State and Federal laws that place rules on debt collectors. When they break the rules, we make sure that they make it up to our clients.
I've been practicing bankruptcy law for almost 12 years now. I primarily handle cases in West Virgina but I am also licensed Pennsylvania.
I really enjoy being a lawyer. I get to help people in my practice everyday. At Hinkle Law, we understand that many people are reluctant to seek the help of an attorney so we strive to make their experience as painless as possible. Providing friendly and courteous service is a priority.
When I'm not practicing law, I spend my most of my time with family and friends. My wife, Sarah, is my partner in life and in law. (We met in law school and got married right after our final exams.). We have two children who keep us on the move with school and sports. I'm a die hard Mountaineer sports fan and most of my fall weekendsrevolve around trips to Morgantown and beyond to watch the Eers. I also teach Sunday school, serve on the board of directors of Main Street Martinsburg and coach youth sports.
