Anthony James Delligatti

Anthony Delligatti joined the 23rd Judicial Circuit as Judge Lorensen's Law Clerk in early 2015. He previously worked as an attorney at Skinner Law Firm. He lives in Martinsburg, WV with his wife Catie. He grew up in Fairmont, West Virginia and is a 2003 graduate of Fairmont Senior High School. Anthony earned a B.A. in Sociology from West Virginia University (2007), an M.A. in Criminal Justice from Temple University (2009), an M.A. in Political Science from West Virginia University (2011), and his law degree from West Virginia University College of Law (2013). As part of the West Virginia University College of Law, Anthony served as an associate editor on Volume 114 and as the Executive Development Editor of Volume 115 of the West Virginia Law Review. Anthony’s student note "A Horse of a Different Color: Distinguishing the Judiciary from the Political Branches in Campaign Financing" was published in the West Virginia Law Review (115 W.Va. L. Rev. 401) in 2012, and cited by the Supreme Court of Appeals in State ex rel. Loughry v. Tennant, 229 W.Va. 630 (W.Va. 2012). In addition to working for Skinner Law Firm, Anthony clerked for the Honorable Thomas E. McHugh of the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia.
