William M. Tiano

William M. Tiano (Bar No. 4308), admitted to the State Bar in 1986, is an accomplished trial lawyer whose practice emphasizes client-centered advocacy and accountability for negligent conduct. After undergraduate studies at Marshall University, he received his J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law and is admitted to West Virginia state and federal courts as well as the Fourth Circuit. Over decades of practice, Mr. Tiano has represented thousands of injured clients across jurisdictions, securing results in personal injury, medical malpractice, and wrongful death cases and earning peer distinctions including West Virginia Super Lawyer and Top 100 Trial Lawyers. He is known for meticulous preparation, effective negotiation, and tenacious courtroom advocacy, always guided by respect for clients and community safety. Mr. Tiano contributes to the profession through continuing-education presentations and service on the West Virginia Association for Justice board, and holds memberships in the ABA and the American Association for Justice.
