Biography
Shane Wilson, with offices in downtown Charleston, West Virginia, is a Spanish speaking attorney with a decade of legal experience serving people. He graduated from West Virginia University College of Law in 2012, where he completed legal study abroad in Guanajuato, Mexico. After law school, Shane served as Assistant Attorney General for the State of West Virginia. As a government attorney, Shane successfully mediated and litigated consumer protection claims. Shane has also worked for the United States government as a field representative for a United States Congressman.
Shane has had a lifelong passion for the Spanish language and Latin America. He graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Spanish from Washington and Lee University in Virginia in 2008. As an undergraduate, he volunteered as a translator in the community for immigrant populations. His studies included experiences in Costa Rica, Peru, Argentina, Uruguay, and Spain. In his free time, Shane continues to pursue opportunities to travel and study the Spanish language, including frequent trips to Mexico, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua.
