Biography
Eric R. Arnold, Associate, joined the firm of Hendrickson & Long in October 2014. Since 2008, Mr. Arnold served as a law clerk with the firm when not in school. His practice experience includes general business litigation; oil and gas defense; toxic tort; consumer credit/protection; and disability advocacy. Mr. Arnold has participated in the writing and completion of numerous legal briefs at all levels of the State and Federal court system. In addition to his legal experience, Mr. Arnold covered West Virginia University athletics for national site for over five years and served on the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources Aged-and-Disabled Waiver Council.
Mr. Arnold, a wheelchair-bound individual with a form of Muscular Dystrophy, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, possesses over 15 years of personal experience with the West Virginia DHHR, Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security (SSI/SSDI) programs. This includes case management of private healthcare and staffing on numerous state and federal waiver programs. He is an organizer of the Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy Golf Tournament in Charleston; a 20-year charity event with over $300,000 raised for funding and research.
