Chelsea E. Walker, Attorney at Law
Originally from Hawaii and raised across the U.S., I've always connected deeply with diverse families and cultures. After earning a degree in International Relations from Florida International University, immigration law became a natural calling. Today, I bring 10+ years of legal insight, including prosecutorial and government experience, to every immigration case.
My Practice
At KVisaXpress, I focus exclusively on U.S. federal immigration law: K-1 fiancé visas, adjustment of status for spouses and children, family-based green card petitions, employment-based visas, and consular processing for families abroad. I focus on cases involving children, stepchildren, and blended families. I also assist expatriates with tax strategy and planning for family reunification in light of U.S. financial obligations.
Most of my clients are entrepreneurs, business owners, and couples committed to building their lives together in the U.S.
Why My Background Matters
Before immigration law, I served as Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Fayette County, West Virginia, and Assistant Attorney General for the State of West Virginia—handling approximately 2,500 cases with a very strong win record. I was appointed to the West Virginia Women's Commission by the Attorney General.
This prosecutorial experience is your advantage. I approach immigration cases the way I approached criminal prosecution: assessing situations, identifying information gaps, finding vulnerabilities, and building airtight, defensible strategies. Immigration officers and judges evaluate petitions with the same rigor prosecutors use. I know how they think—because I was one.
Track Record
100% approval rate on family-based immigration petitions over the past five years. I bring strategic precision grounded in litigation experience, paired with genuine compassion for the families I represent.
The Personal Touch
A client once hired me because he said a woman in a male-dominated field would outwork a man just to prove herself. He later admitted I went above and beyond—but maybe that's not about proving anything. Maybe people go above and beyond when they actually care.
That's my commitment to your case.
When I'm not working, I enjoy skiing, sunshine, kayaking, and the satisfaction of helping families build their future in the United States. I maintain offices in Charleston, WV; Alexandria, VA; Sacramento, CA; and hope to expand into Utah.

Very professional
Chelsea is very professional yet aggressive when it comes to children welfare. She understood the severity of my case and worked tirelessly to get the results I wanted. I still have a ways to go, but Chelsea did great on the first step.
"By far one of the most knowledgeable and thorough attorneys out there today. I cannot recommend Chelsea and praise her enough for her efforts."
