Jennifer Dempsey Meeteer

Jennifer Dempsey Meeteer joined Katz, Kantor, Stonestreet & Buckner, PLLC in 2018. Originally from Madison, West Virginia, Jennifer has lived in southern West Virginia nearly her entire life and is dedicated to helping the people of this area.

Since graduating from law school, Jennifer has spent her career helping people in need find justice inside and outside the courtroom. After graduating from West Virginia University College of Law in 2012, she assisted Judge Philip Stowers, a judge of the Circuit Court of Putnam County, West Virginia, for two years as a law clerk. She then joined a plaintiff’s firm in Beckley where she battled insurance companies and corporations to treat injured clients fairly and pay the settlements that her clients deserved.

Since they married in 2013, Jennifer and her husband, Wes have expanded their family to include a daughter, Nora, and a son, Wesley. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys traveling, walking her dogs, and spending time with her family.

Education
Jennifer graduated in 2009 from West Virginia University with a B.A. in English with a concentration in Professional Writing and Editing. In 2012, she graduated from the West Virginia University College of Law in the top 25 percent of her class. During her time at law school, she worked for Allan N. Karlin & Associates, published an article in the West Virginia Law Review, worked as an editor of the West Virginia Law Review, and competed in the AAJ Trial Competition in Washington D.C.
