Suppression hearing of a search by law enforcement on the private property of a citizen that led to alleged evidence of a crime. After the hearing, the Trial Court suppressed the evidence based upon ... a violation of my client's 4th Amendment rights under the U.S. Constitution. The State of Texas appealed but case was later affirmed by the 10th Appellate Court in Waco, Texas, State petitioned for discretionary review at the Court of Criminal Appeals, Austin, Texas. The CCA granted the review but nevertheless held for the citizen that his rights had been violated and the evidence was suppressed. Case thereafter dismissed.
