She had my case for 2 and a half years. There was no inter office communication! She spent 15 minutes with before court to go over paperwork, not going over specific details. My ex ended up with the house, all the cars, and my child! I got $300 a month. I would have been better off going to legal aid.... When the papers were signed, she refused to tie up the after math mess she created without additional fees. Then blamed the mess on her late assistant. I trusted her but she was working for opposing counsel to keep from having to do the work herself!!! I even asked Ann “who are you working for, me or him??? I need someone fighting for me!” The next email I received was 2 months later, telling me that to continue I would owe more. She had already gave everything I, I don’t even have a car to this day and because of her incompetence, have no means get one. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS ONE! I had to hire another lawyer to clean up her which ended up costing 3x what the divorce was supposed to cost in the first place!

This woman is the worst lawyer imaginable. She was our court appointed lawyer for my husband’s case. Communication is very poor. I was given her cell phone number, which is given to every client due to the importance of communication as stated on her website. I called and texted her cell phone EVERY ...DAY for nearly two weeks and she never once picked up the phone or returned my call. I spoke with her ONCE over the phone for 10 minutes after waiting 2 weeks for my scheduled call because her schedule is just ”too full”. I also called her office every day in attempt to speak with her about our case. The secretaries make constant excuses for why it’s taking so long to do what has been requested of her. Time was of the essence due to my husband sitting in jail. We requested a bond hearing to be setup on his behalf and more excuses were made as to why this was not done for weeks on end. I requested on several occasions that she go speak with my husband in jail and she never did. My husband attempted to contact her office several times and very rarely got through and when he did, it was more excuses from the secretaries as to why he couldn’t speak with Rhonda herself. He spoke with her for maybe 15 minutes total in all of our dealings with her and it was directly before each court date. I am so thankful everyday that we came into some money and were able to hire our own representation! My husband had his day in court and was found NOT GUILTY by the new, very competent attorney we hired. I do not know what would have happened if we proceeded to trial with Rhonda and do not want to think about it honestly! If you want a communicative, competent attorney, Rhonda Overstreet is not the lawyer for you. Avoid hiring this woman, or you will just be left in the dark and will be constantly led on!

Hired for divorce in May 2016. Though I initially paid her a $2500 retainer she actually seemed to be working for my estranged wife and her attorney instead of me. Poor communication. Recluctant to meet and respond to email. Failed to take timely action. After one year waiting period still failed to ...file appropriate paperwork. Waited 5 months to compel wife to submit interrogatory when she should have completed it in less than a month. Would not explain why. Blamed her incompetence and inaction on the slowness of the court system. I hired a new attorney in March who says I am not the first client of his who has experienced this behavior with Attorney Rhonda Overstreet and turned to him for help. Thanks to this new and very competent attorney and advocate, as June of 2018 approaches, I am near the end of this ordeal made unnecessarily more stressful by Rhonda Overstreet's incompetence. Avoid this attorney!
