Juliette N. Michael

Juliette is the principal attorney of the firm, practicing in contract litigation, wills, trusts, and estate administration, landlord-tenant disputes, as well as business and real estate law.

A Winchester native, Juliette began her legal career in Lynchburg, Virginia, as an attorney with the Virginia Legal Aid Society, where she practiced civil litigation with a focus on landlord-tenant matters. She later practiced estate planning, probate, and trust administration in Northern Virginia before returning to the Winchester area to join the Law Office of Joan K. Fine. There, she worked as an associate attorney concentrating on estate planning, probate, and civil litigation until Ms. Fine’s retirement in December 2025, at which time Juliette opened J. Michael Law, PLC.

Juliette earned her Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law, where she received the distinguished Pro Bono Populi Service Award for her pro bono work with the Palliative Care Unit at the Medical University of South Carolina. She also participated in the Richmond Summer Law Program at Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge, in Cambridge, England. Prior to law school, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business from Sweet Briar College.

Juliette is a member of the Virginia Bar Association and the Winchester-Frederick County Bar Association. She serves on the Parish Council of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church and is a board member of the Child Safe Center–CAC. She is also an active member and current board member of the Kiwanis Club of Winchester.

Outside of her legal practice, Juliette enjoys traveling, sailing on the Chesapeake Bay, and spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Ellie.
