No understanding of the Constitution

I wish I could post a copy of the letter I received from this Attorney's office. I sure hope it was a young and inexperienced paralegal that wrote the letter, and not Ms Scott, because the lack of understanding of the US Constitution, and basic grammar and spelling were appalling. For any attorney to... advise someone they don't have the constitutional write under the first amendment to speak the truth, and do no research on the person who's filing a complaint to determine it's validity, clearly shows laziness, incompetence., and lack of integrity. However, I guess that's where the legal system in the US has sadly fallen to today. It's not about being ethical and doing the right things, it's simply become a business. Just give me money and I'll do whatever you ask. I feel sorry for anyone who needs legal help and ends up with representation from this office. I'd suggest you represent yourself. You would be much better off.

You indicated that you consulted with this firm, when in fact, you did not. Instead, you are an adverse party of an existing client. For further clarification, you do have a Constitutional right to free speech. However, you do not have a constitutional right to influence or have contact with a minor child who is not yours and whom you have no authority over. Should you want to continue to debate it, we can gladly take it up in Court and let the Judge decide. You also do not have a “right” to indicate you have consulted with this firm, when you are actually just upset at the letter you received.

Ms. Scott repensted my self and daughter in an adoption case. In which my son-in-law adopted by granddaughter. Ms. Scott listened to our adoption request with care and ease in her voice. She showed compassion for her job and for us. Ms. Scott made the process very easy for us. With updated inf...ormation by phone or emails. We were reasurred in every step of the way. Ms. Scott was exteremly professional. We feel as though she went above and beyond in helping us. We highly recommend Ms. Scott in any adoption needs you may have. Thank you Ms. Scott.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Values her client's Sherry took my case when others became frustrated with the complexity and gave up on me. Not only did she succeed, she exceeded everyone’s expectations. She came on as a new attorney facing a difficult case with an aggres...sive seasoned opposing counsel that others despise going up against and often turn down these cases. Sherry was ready to rise to the occasion that others with decades of experience failed to do. Unfortunately the opposing side underestimated her ability to utilize her knowledge and professionalism to earn the respect from the court. Sherry is an amazing attorney and one many will soon to see is to be reckoned with. She is organized and well prepared. She does not need to stoop to cheap shots because she is talented and passionate about law. She is upfront with her clients and never misleads expectations. She makes you feel heard which to me was the most important aspect of my case. She is a lawyer, but also understands her clients are human and have many emotions when going through litigation. Although she is a new attorney she is not new to the community. She has provided her services in the area outside of law for others making her well respected throughout the community. She is valued for who she is as an individual as well as professional. I would not have wanted to enter that court with anyone else. Although my case is finished, I hope to see her be a game changer for her clients and future court proceedings. I hope those attorneys that feel that they can aggressively bully individuals at a disadvantage, understand they now need a new strategy using facts and integrity. I hope these individuals cringe when they see that the opposing side obtained her representation. I hope they realize that their unprofessional tactics are no match for Sherry. I would never wish litigation on anybody, but if you are facing that you couldn’t ask for a better attorney. Aside from this review I personally would like to thank her for taking on something that nobody else would, and not letting me and my children and fall through the cracks. I know by the time she came on to the case I felt defeated. I finally felt heard and got the closure necessary to move forward in my life
