About John
Biography
John has been a trusted mainstay of the Roanoke legal community since graduating from law school in 1973. The Roanoke native practices domestic relations and family law and has served as chair of the Virginia Bar Association’s Domestic Relation Section Council.
In addition to his domestic law practice, John represents businesses, both public and private, and individuals in a variety of legal matters.
He is a member of the Litigation, Family and Business Law Sections of the Virginia State Bar and the Virginia Bar Association’s Domestic, Business and Litigation Sections. John is currently Chairman of the VBA Domestic Relations Section Council and is a member of the Family Law and State Section of the American Bar Association.
John has been recognized byVirginia Businessmagazine as one of its Legal Elite in the area of family and domestic relations.
John attended the University of South and graduated from Hampden-Sydney College. He received his law degree from the University of South Carolina, where he served on the South Carolina Law Review.
