About me

You’ll want Benjamin Webb King on your team when it comes to bankruptcy and creditors’ rights. Webb regularly represents creditors, debtors and other interest holders in Chapter 11 cases and creditors in Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 cases.

Webb also represents creditors outside of bankruptcy, handling foreclosures, working to perfect and enforce lien rights and enforce court judgments, including use of the Uniform Enforcement of Foreign Judgments Act to enforce judgments obtained outside Virginia.

Beyond bankruptcy, he has handled a wide variety of civil cases, including Uniform Commercial Code matters, mechanic’s liens, FELA cases, breach of contract cases, real estate disputes and business torts. Webb also regularly handles both commercial and residential landlord/tenant matters.

Webb graduated from Roanoke College and magna cum laude from the University of Richmond School of Law, where he served as an associate editor of the Law Review and as a teaching assistant for a first-year legal skills class. He clerked for Woods Rogers during law school.

Webb is past chair of the Virginia Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division. He has contributed to Bankruptcy Law News, a publication of the Virginia State Bar.

Webb is the past president of the board of directors of the Greenvale School in Roanoke, a non-profit childcare center that provides services designed for working families and single parents.
