After suffering a work injury himself while working a third-shift stocking job at a grocery store, workers’ compensation specialist attorney Jonas Callis of the Hurt At Work Workers Compensation Law Firm knows the difficulties injured workers face when they are injured on the job and no longer have a steady income, further complicated by unexpected medical bills. Bothered by this systematic unfairness, Jonas decided to attend law school with the hope of one day helping other unfairly treated injured workers.
After law school, Jonas worked with insurance companies, learning the tricks and traps they use to deny the valid claims of people injured in workplace accidents.
Over the years, Jonas developed a reputation as “The Workers Comp Guy.” For years, insurance companies called him for advice about workplace injuries. Now, Jonas uses his mastery of the Virginia Workers’ Compensation system to help injured workers navigate this complex system in order to get all of the workers’ compensation benefits they deserve.
