Von Leroy Piersall III

Mr. Piersall was born and raised in Portsmouth Virginia. After graduating from law school at the University of Richmond in December of 2000, he was licensed to practice law in May of 2001. Since that time, his practice has focused on criminal defense, personal injury and domestic relations.

Trey graduated from East Carolina University in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After working as a counselor at a wilderness school, he enrolled in the graduate program at Longwood College where Trey earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling. He then worked for three years as a counselor at the Pines Treatment Center and the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice working with kids who had committed crimes and been through the criminal justice system.

Mr. Piersall has tried cases successfully on all levels in the Courts of Virginia, including the Court of Appeals of Virginia and the Supreme Court of Virginia. He is licensed to practice in Virginia and has tried cases in the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Trey is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Portsmouth Bar Association, and the Virginia Trial Lawyer’s Association.
