Employment situation

Mr. Ervin and his outstanding staff represented me in an employment dispute. I was fortunate enough to find Mr. Ervin on the internet and was extremely pleased with the professionalism of Mr. Ervin and his entire staff. His advice clearly reflected his exceptional knowledge and experience in employme...nt litigation. I would recommend Mr. Ervin and his staff to anyone seeking a successful conclusion to any employment issue.

Calm, confident and the best employment attorneys around

Simply the best employment lawyers in SE Virginia! They specialize in helping the employee when they are stuck or have been put in situations -- FMLA violations, force-quits, harassment -- where they feel powerless. Assisted greatly when I needed representation at a fact-finding hearing with the unem...ployment agency after being treated poorly by a former employer. I've used them twice and attorneys Reid Ervin and Joshua Jewett are the epitome of professionalism, deep knowledge and tenacity. They put you immediately at ease with their demeanor and their ability to relax the client. No one wants to go to an employment lawyer, but if you feel wronged they are the first guys to call. Highly recommended.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
