Melissa advises employers on wage & hour compliance, worker classification, employee leave and accommodation issues, and discipline matters. She also drafts and reviews handbooks and other workplace policies and procedures.

Melissa drafts and reviews employment agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, severance agreements, and various other forms of workplace agreements.

Melissa represents employers in cases arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the FLSA, the ADEA, the ADA, the FMLA and other federal and state laws, to include cases concerning breach of contract, violation of non-competes, and defamation.
