Darius Davenport

Darius Davenport focuses primarily on complex commercial and civil litigation in state and federal courts with an emphasis on insurance defense, railroad, admiralty, maritime, public sector and employment law. As a member of the firm’s Litigation Group, Mr. Davenport represents businesses across the region as well as local housing authorities. As a part of the firm’s Employment Law Group, Mr. Davenport provides counsel to local municipalities on various employment and other legal matters. His work includes defending organizations against suits in local courts, presenting annual training for staff, and providing legal opinions to management on a wide range of legal issues. Mr. Davenport also has significant experience handling government administrative law matters including ethics, FOIA, Privacy law, fiscal law, environmental law, standards of conduct, and adverse administrative actions. As a former government attorney, he has experience drafting regulations and policies and has provided legal advice and counsel to senior government officials on a myriad of legal issues.
