There is not a statute of limitations for felonies in Virginia. You need counsel and should not post anything else on public websites.

Never bet on a victim "no show." You need to meet with a local expire ended counsel and formulate a plan of attack.
I have been charged with malicious wounding in a case but the victim is not pressing charges. The state picked it up.
