My practice focuses on representing clients in divorce, property settlement agreements, custody matters, pre-marital agreements and other domestic cases, as well as corporate clients in a variety of civil matters.  Further, I offers services to those in the music industry and other artistic endeavors.  Having been an active and working musician since the 1990's, I understand the particular needs of artists and music industry members.

I earned my J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law with a certificate in Criminal law.  I earned my B.S. in Public Administration from George Mason University.  While at Mason I was asked to participate as a foreign exchange student with Oxford University in Oxford, England.  I finished my undergraduate studies at New College at Oxord with a concentration in History and Law.   

I was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 2005 and am the CLE chair of Domestic Relations Counsel for the Virginia Bar Association, a member of the Virginia Beach Bar Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the American Trial Lawyers Association. I am also also a barrister with the l’Anson Hoffman American Inn of Court.  I was accepted as Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in 2017.  

I began my legal career as an  Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Danville,Virginia and eventually served as a Senior Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney in Virginia Beach, Virginia before going into private practice.
