Just all around horrible. I was evicted from my apartment a couple of years ago due to previous employer cutting my hours drastically. I could not pay my balance when the apartment complex wanted me too so they sent it to this Law Firm. I only found out when I tried to call the apartment complex to s...tart making payments to lower my balance at the end of 2025. I tried reaching out to this law firm to obtain information such as if they could send me a letter in the mail about the balance, how to go about making payments (they tried to make me pay an outrageous amount per month that I could not afford) etc. The lady refused to answer if she could send me an official letter in the mail but confirmed all my information (address, phone number etc.). She barely wanted to help me navigate their website (that doesn’t tell you anything about your debt, just an option to make payments). I told her I would be more comfortable paying $100 a month until I can figure out a better way to pay more a month. I requested that the law firm send me an official letter in the mail about my debt and they never did. Shortly after making my first payment I got injured at work due to someone else’s negligence and was out of work for a month with no pay. I fell behind on all my bills and making payments on this debt was not a first priority over keeping a roof over my child’s head and food on the table. In a few months I get a letter in the mail from the courts about the law firm wanting to garnish my wages and court will be in August 2026, however, my wages already started being garnished (June 2026). My take home after my employers deductions was $949 and they garnished $501, leaving me with a $448 paycheck. Nobody can live off of a $448 paycheck every two weeks. That isn’t even enough to get back and forth to work everyday for me so I’m definitely will be living off the streets soon and pray someone will be willing to be a decent human being and help me when I’m down in life. I really hope karma hits this law firm hard. They didn’t even wait until the court date to garnish my wages and at least I would have had a chance to try and lower the deductions down.
