Biography
I have represented the seriously injured and those who have suffered great loss such as losing a child or loved one for the past 27 years with our team at Pierce & Thornton, PLC. I have been fortunate to have wonderful and deserving clients over the course of my legal career. I have enjoyed the great privilege of obtaining just and favorable outcomes for my clients by focusing on intense preparation, attention to detail, and strong commitment to doing what is best for them and their families. Many of my clients are relatives, neighbors, or friends of individuals whom I have previously represented. i understand how important the case is to client who suffered injury or loss, and I strive to always provide personal attention and to answer any questions or concerns from the outset of the case through its resolution. When I am retained to pursue a case, the client will have direct contact with me, and my legal team and I will work tirelessly to resolve your case as efficiently and favorably as possible. I accept a limited number of cases so that we can be available to provide a high level of attention and dedication to your case.
I am also blessed to have a number of lawyers throughout Virginia and across the country who refer clients to me and therefore entrust me with representing individuals who need my legal assistance. I have represented clients not only in Virginia and North Carolina, where I am licensed to practice, but also in Georgia, West Virginia, Florida, Ohio, Washington, D.C., Colorado, and as far west as Oregon and California. I have seen justice prevail in the darkest of moments for my clients, and I take great pride in helping them put their lives back together after a tragic event has literally altered their course and left them without answers, and sometimes with diminished hope.
I realize that while there are limits to what our legal system can do in terms of putting someone's life completely back together, my mission is to help my clients, guide them through the legal process, and to relentlessly and ethically fight for compensation to balance the harms and losses they have suffered.
