Family means everything! While I am a lawyer by day, I love being with my family at night and on the weekends. We love to be outdoors whether it is going to the park, hiking in the mountains or going to the beach. Also, I have always been an active person and enjoy running, biking, swimming and working out. However, I also enjoy a good book and read often.
While in the first 9 years of my practice, I did not know the pleasure of being a parent. Now that I have a son, I have a different prospective on custody cases and believe I have a better appreciation of what is or is not in the best interest of a child or children.
I also grew up with divorced parents. Going through that as a child and dealing with parents that never got along, gives me insight and allows me to be a better attorney to my family law clients.
I have been told at times I am brutally honest and I do not think that is a bad thing. If you want an attorney to tell you what you want to hear, do not come to me. I will tell you like it is, the good, the bad and the ugly.

Being a man in the state of Virginia, I was, as many men feel, fighting an uphill battle, nevertheless we prevailed with the...
