Definitely Recommend!

I was referred to Mr. Pollard by another attorney in town. He was very responsive to all of my questions and resolved the case in just a few months. I would recommend Mr. Pollard to other workers who are injured.

I Recommend Attorney Pollard

Attorney Pollard represented me in a workers' compensation case. He returned all of my calls promptly and explained the process and how he evaluated the case. He was able to settle the case so that I received a large lump sum and continued medical care.

This gentleman and his office made major mistakes in my case. They neglected to file important paperwork in a timely fashion. This caused me additional unnecessary damages and financial hardship. We had several doctors complain that he would not call them back after numerous attempts to get in co...ntact with him. Corey’s office would ask me to do many things that his office should have done. For example, he asked me to get a letter from a doctor. The doctor was not sure what exactly was needed. The doctor asked Corey to contact him. After several weeks, the doctor said Corey still hadn’t contacted him, even though we provided the doctor’s contact information several times to Corey and kept reminding him. He made me do a great deal of extra work and made me spin my wheels. We also didn’t get to speak with him until after we hired him. Before that, we had to interview with several assistants, Briana and April. These representatives gave us conflicting information and then I was treated poorly for following their instructions. Then we were transferred to a paralegal in another state. Hiring this firm was the worst decision of my life and I can’t in good conscience recommend Corey to anyone. I’m embarrassed to bring this up, but his hands were shaking with nerves in the courtroom.

Terrible Lawyer!!

Mr. Pollard never kept me informed about my case, never shook my hand but shook the opposing attorney's hand. Supposedly he was a germaphobe. Do not have this man represent you. The only time I was informed was the day before my court case. He gave up on my case after he got paid from the court and... didn't want to appeal my case a 2nd time. Overall he didn't believe me therefore he didn't even try to win the case for me.

Thank you for your feedback. I value hearing from my clients, especially when they are sharing their concerns and telling me how I can improve my representation of them. I know that the litigation process is often difficult, stressful, and time-consuming for everyone involved. Complicated issues can arise at any moment. And the judicial system moves slowly when those it is designed to help cannot afford to sit and wait patiently for a successful resolution. This is true in every type of case I handle - Social Security Disability, Workers' Compensation, Personal Injury, or Employment Law. I strive to keep each and every one of my clients fully informed every step of the way. And I prepare each case as though I am fighting for my own rights, medical treatment, or livelihood. That preparation and approach has helped me obtain successful results for hundreds of clients in Richmond and throughout Virginia. From your feedback, it is clear that you do not feel you were kept informed during your case. Please contact me offline to discuss your case and concerns. I'm more than willing to talk with you by phone, email, or in person. I appreciate you choosing me to represent you and I look forward to speaking with you and hearing your thoughts on how I can make the litigation process easier and more understandable for clients. - Corey

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
