Top Notch Attorney

JoAnna Suyes and her paralegal Christy Bixby were incredibly helpful from the first day I stepped foot into Marks & Harrison until 3 plus years later that I had my disability hearing. During the 3 year long process both JoAnna and Christy kept me informed of any and all changes as well the progressio...n of my hearing. JoAnna was very positive, comforting, and reassuring each time that I either spoke to her or that I met with her which was so very important and appreciated, through a most difficult time. After my disability hearing, JoAnna was quite on point with how she felt the decisioning would be. I've not yet received the decisioning of my case but I can say with the strictest convictions either way the decision goes I couldn't have chosen a better attorney. Thank you JoAnna & Christy

Great person, great staff

Joanna and her staff filed my application, my appeals, and Joanna went to a hearing with me. Her staff is very knowledgable about all aspects of Social Security. If I couldn't talk to Joanna, I could talk to K and she would be able to answer most of my questions. They were upfront and honest with ...me the entire time and never let me lose hope with kind words and a good sense of humor. It was an experience that I don't want to repeat, but if I had to, I would not go any other way. Joanna was able to tell me what she thought of the hearing/what decision the judge would make when we left. She was available to answer questions after my FAVORABLE decision and I will continue to send people to Joanna and Marks and Harrison.

Social Security/Personal Injury

Joanna helped me obtain social security disability even after my private disability denied me twice. She was very thorough and stayed in touch with me about exactly what information I needed to provide. She made a difficult situation for me much easier. I would recommend Joanna highly !

Marks and Harrison's Social Seuciryt practice is great!!

Joanna and her staff were very responsive and knowledgable about social security. I would recommend them to anyone because they encouraged me and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I got my social seucurity without having to go to a hearing and they did that for me.

"I endorse this lawyer. I went to law school with Joanna and have known her sense. She is one of the most honest, ethical people I know. I have referred several friends to her for legal advice, a few of who she has formally represented. Every one of them was very satisfied with her assistance, and obtained a positive outcome. She is top notch."
