Charles Arthur Gavin

When his peer, Tom Bondurant received an appointment to Henrico General District Court as judge, Mr. Charles (“Chuck”) Gavin became my attorney. I was already fed up with the way the former handled my case, and persisted in attempting to recover the retainer Mr. Bondurant assured me he’d refund. I ph...oned, and swung by Mr. Gavin’s office several times before being able to discuss developments in my case, and having a provision of my bond amended. Initially, Mr. Gavin tried to drop me as an acquired client; but, in response to a hastily penned letter, I formally affirmed that no such agreement had been reached.
