About Catherine
Biography
I have known that I wanted to practice estate planning and elder law since high school, when my family began running into problems in providing needed care for aging relatives. At that point, there wasn't much that I could do to help, so I am especially grateful now that I get to help other families navigate through the aging process on a daily basis.
Born in Massachusetts and raised in Pennsylvania, I came to Williamsburg for law school and fell in love ... with my now-husband, with the Hampton Roads area, and with a law firm that upholds my strong personal values and seeks to combat the negative image of lawyers in our society.
I have a strong attention to detail and I enjoy planning ahead. I use these skills to help my clients in creating thorough, personalized estate planning documents which are designed to work despite life's unknown twists and turns.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with family, reading, and watching sitcoms.
